Thanks for checking the spec and testing the full `ArrowReader` path!
Updated in 6c79fc72: the regression test now compares the complete result
schema, and the struct-default TODO links to #3261.
I’ll use #3261 for the follow-up and add the missing-parent `{}` case and
helper refactoring to its scope, since both cases need the same per-child
default logic.
