@szehon-ho @mkaravel @paleolimbot I’m fine with adding a boolean field to the geometry logical type for wraparound. It could default to false (disallow wraparound) — or true, if we prefer. In any case, this was the compromise we agreed on in the last meeting. That said, the Parquet Java and C++ geo types were released quite a while ago, after a long process. Is there a way for us to work with the current release as it is, and then patch this later?
