Hi @szehon-ho @rdblue and other folks in the iceberg community, 1. The Parquet Java 1.16 has been released about 2 weeks ago: https://lists.apache.org/thread/ygtv1t2klfmchh99ybkggwn066nskvpt It has the Geo type implementation. I think it removed the final blocker for this PR. Can you please let us know if we can continue working on this PR and get your review? Or can you let me know what needs to be done in order to move forward? 2. DuckLake already has the geo type reader and writer implemented and merged: https://github.com/duckdb/ducklake/pull/412 Iceberg community was the one who started everything and got the momentum initially. But now I am afraid we are losing it to DuckLake. We should really speed up the process here. Right now, lots of people in the geo community are waiting for this geo type reader and writer feature and they keep asking questions on Sedona discussion board and social posts.
