@adutra the issue that @coderfender is trying to fix is essentially to make the test from https://github.com/apache/iceberg/blob/fc31fd5056b47dd2f3044d2569d7594027de0417/core/src/test/java/org/apache/iceberg/catalog/CatalogTests.java#L1230-L1233 pass.
