@xiaoxuandev the issue, in my mind at least, is less that glue validation is on or off by default and more that it is validating incorrectly. Legal glue table and database names may include dashes. I'm not sure why, and was surprised to find out that, Iceberg rejects dashes as illegal. Indeed I found this out when listing databases through spark failed because one of the existing Glue databases was rejected as invalid by Iceberg... -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
