Review Comment:
   In order to implement those steps, we would need to initialize a catalog in 
`test_pyarrow.py` for updating and committing to that table (as far as I know). 
Im unsure if initializing a sql catalog (maybe in a `pytest.fixture`) is a good 
way to go about it?
