I am having a similar issue, I am dropping a iceberg table in spark (without purge) but the data and metadata is deleted. Strange is that before it was not purging. I cannot find which platform property was changed. (We are using spark 3.2 and iceberg 1.3.1 If I compare spark ui before and after: After: Drop the table using the datasourcev2strategy.
