Moving forward, I suggest that we choose only one interface, but make the choice of using which underlying implementation configurable (based on the fact that [both implementation can be wrapped into the other lib API](https://arrow.apache.org/docs/python/filesystems.html#using-fsspec-compatible-filesystems-with-arrow)). -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
