I'm going to merge this to unblock the next phase of work. Building the site works and I think once this is in we can move on to: 1. Update the style to match the current site 2. Add release branches for the older docs 3. Add automation scripts to build the site I'd also like to move the docs in `main` from `nightly` to a `docs` area (its own mkdocs site) and remove duplicate markdown files.
