So after callers of `HBasePlatformDependent` are removed, we could make a new hbase-thirdparty release. But this PR won't go into branch-2, so it won't remove callers to `HBasePlatformDependent` there. I think we shouldn't make new hbase-thirdparty releases that aren't compatible with branch-2 until that branch is no longer active. Can you try adding a enforcer rule to completely remove the hbase-unsafe dependecies.
