Mike Jumper commented on GUACAMOLE-1289:
----------------------------------------

[~vnick]: That looks like a variant of the 3-clause BSD license.

It would be 100% identical to the 3-clause BSD license, except that the third
clause and the disclaimer at the bottom have both been reworded to replace
"copyright holder and contributors" with "author". I can find a few cases of
people being confused by this variation in wording, with SPDX opting to
consider both variants equivalent:

https://github.com/spdx/license-list-XML/issues/399

It's probably worth reaching out to {{legal-discuss@}} to confirm. I expect
it's probably fine, and maybe there will be some additional clarifying wording
added to [the ASF's third-party license
docs|https://www.apache.org/legal/resolved.html#category-a] as a result of this.

> It looks like there have been some changes to the Duo API/SDK which require
> updates to the guacamole-auth-duo extension. As reported by Ralph on the
> user@ mailing list:
> {quote}
> So we're setting up Duo for use on our Guacamole system, and whilst setting
> up the web SDK I noticed this message (see screenshot link): [^bGVZLZv.png]
> This states that there are some changes needed on the web application (The
> Duo Extension in this case). I'm by no means a developer, so I hope this is
> being posted in the correct place, and someone can work on getting the
> extension updated with the requested changes moving forward. Below is a link
> to Duo's Documentation for these changes.
> Thanks!
