Nick Couchman commented on GUACAMOLE-1289:
------------------------------------------

Just a little more implementation-related information - while the update to the
extension shouldn't be too bad, it is worth noting that the v4 SDK no longer
supports embedding the MFA login in an iFrame, but requires a redirect and then
return redirect to accomplish the login. This indicates to me the updated
module will likely look similar to the CAS, OpenID, and SAML SSO modules.

Also, since Duo is completely removing the traditional support prompt, I'm
guessing there will be very little reason to try to maintain support for both,
and makes sense just to shift the Duo extension over to the new version.

> It looks like there have been some changes to the Duo API/SDK which require
> updates to the guacamole-auth-duo extension. As reported by Ralph on the
> user@ mailing list:

> So we're setting up Duo for use on our Guacamole system, and whilst setting
> up the web SDK I noticed this message (see screenshot link): [^bGVZLZv.png]
> This states that there are some changes needed on the web application (The
> Duo Extension in this case). I'm by no means a developer, so I hope this is
> being posted in the correct place, and someone can work on getting the
> extension updated with the requested changes moving forward. Below is a link
> to Duo's Documentation for these changes.
> Thanks!
