### Describe the enhancement requested Arch Linux has started [splitting the aws-sdk-cpp into several packages](https://gitlab.archlinux.org/archlinux/packaging/packages/aws-sdk-cpp/-/merge_requests/1) and leaving out unused components avoids unnecessary packaging work.
