I just installed the update to the intermapper app and it appears to be working for me now. The default map loads and the device list is no longer empty. There is no layer 2 data in there right now, but that problem lies on the Intermapper server (polling hangs and never completes), which I had a ticket open for, but I've not heard back about it in a couple months now.
Only thing I see that's not desirable with the new version of the intermapper splunk app is that my splunk box is pretty much hosed. Sitting at 100% CPU usage, used up all its RAM and most of its swap space. It's not a huge box, but up until now it's been overkill. Hopefully this subsides. -Christopher On 2/15/13 11:25 AM, "Mark Jenkins" <[email protected]> wrote: >If you're still having problems with the 0.7.6 version, is the app >giving you any error messages (e.g. on the Default Map page you may see >"Default Map Not Found" or "Error: Unable to connect to InterMapper >Server"; on other pages you may see a red bar at the top with an error >message)? > >Otherwise, there is a log file which may help track down the problem at >$SPLUNK_HOME/etc/apps/InterMapper/local/imAppLog.log (where $SPLUNK_HOME >is the directory you installed Splunk to). > >Mark >____________________________________________________________________ >List archives: >http://www.mail-archive.com/intermapper-talk%40list.dartware.com/ >To unsubscribe: send email to: [email protected] > > ____________________________________________________________________ List archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/intermapper-talk%40list.dartware.com/ To unsubscribe: send email to: [email protected]
