this is a known issue: https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-55109. In principle you should be able to switch to OnDemand drawing, but in reality it does not (yet) work. And the proposed changes do not improve the situation, neither, at least when I tested them the last time on Win 10. -Michael.
