For many applications, people need to stick with MSVC2010 SP1, for both 32 & 64bit, as only 2010 supports XP without a hassle and 2012 has ugly compiler bugs on IA32 (see the still unresolved issue with libicu + optimizing 32bit builds, even with MSVC2012 update 2). Therefore really a MSVC2010 SP1 32bit/64bit package would be nice to avoid having to toy with two different MSVC's (+ SDKs) to just compile your application on Windows for both variants.
