It's correct that nobody is currently working on on a 4.8 based SDK, as we are all focusing on getting Qt 5 out. The Qt 5.0 release will be a full release containing also Qt Creator. We might look into adding Qt 4.8 support into this later on, but it's not a focus area of anybody right now.
