I just ran a little test with testsaslauthd (from the SASL distribution). I ran this command:
testsaslauthd -u [EMAIL PROTECTED] -p secret And got: 0: OK "Success." This is what it sent to our LDAP server: conn=26 op=4 BIND dn="CN=CYRUS,OU=SERVERS,DC=OUR-FQDN,DC=TLD" method=128 conn=26 op=4 RESULT tag=97 err=0 text= conn=26 op=5 SRCH base="dc=our-fqdn,dc=tld" scope=2 filter="([EMAIL PROTECTED])" conn=26 op=5 SEARCH RESULT tag=101 err=0 text= conn=26 op=6 BIND dn="[EMAIL PROTECTED],OU=PEOPLE,OU=CUSTCOMPANY,OU=CUSTOMERS,DC=OUR-FQDN,DC=TLD" method=128 conn=26 op=6 RESULT tag=97 err=0 text= This is what I want Cyrus IMAPd to do!!
