I've just been building Cyrus imapd (from source) and noticed that Cyrus doesn't have a make uninstall build target. Ie, something that deletes all the files/directories created with "make install". I've noticed a number of other GNU Autoconf/Automake based source distributions that support this feature. I think it would be highly beneficial to have this facility in future Cyrus versions. Unfortunately I don't know enough about the use of Automake/Autoconf be able to provide patches etc to add this feature.
