Sorry, I missed this in your original message. This error is a result of lmtpd's failure to create a spoolfile for the message. Most of the time this will be in the staging area of the recipient's partition (eg, /var/spool/imap/stage.), otherwise this will be in your temp space (call to tmpfile()). Check the ownership/permissions on the 'stage.' directory on your Cyrus partitions.
