Thanks for the input, but I've already checked that--we haven't used our swap yet, and we rarely go over 30% of our memory. We also seem to get a very high and narrow spike on load whenever one of these errors is being written (of course, that is hard to correlate, since my load graph doesn't have time on it), so maybe it is an I/O thing.
I read in the archive that the cache flushing error was no big deal when it happened infrequently, but we seem to have one every 20 minutes or so, which seems pretty frequent to me sitting here worrying. Anyone else have any ideas? Additionally, how do I get my Sendmail to stop looking for sasldb? I could never get saslpasswd to create the file on my system, but since I am not using sasl at all, I thought maybe it would be no problem. And maybe it isn't except for these annoying messages filling up my mail.log. c* ----- Original Message ----- From: "Amos Gouaux" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Wednesday, January 02, 2002 6:14 PM Subject: Re: DBERRORs > >>>>> On Wed, 2 Jan 2002 15:06:06 -0600, > >>>>> Connie S Fensky <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> (csf) writes: > > csf> Jan 2 12:31:12 frank imapd[7168]: DBERROR: error closing: DB_INCOMPLETE: > csf> Cache flush > csf> was unable to complete > > I don't think this is too terrible. > > csf> Jan 2 12:31:12 frank imapd[7168]: DBERROR: error closing mailboxes: cyrusdb > csf> error > csf> ... > csf> Jan 2 14:28:25 frank imapd[9572]: DBERROR: opening /var/imap/mailboxes.db: > csf> Not enough > csf> space > > However, this looks like a different story.
