I doubt the root folder is all that special. I have the same mail
delivered to a root folder on my RH 6.2 system running Cyrus 1.6.24 -
without trouble.

Looks like I have plenty of folders. There isn't a new limit in 2.x,
is there :-)
BTW, the permissions are the same on *all* the folders, since I set
them on user.leblanc before creating all the others, and they are
being inherited.
Any other ideas?
