Is "SASL re-entrancy" the real problem ?

I have a system RH 6.2 running for about one year with :
* cyrus-2.0.6
* pam_ldap-0.65
* openldap-2.0.7
* libsasl-1.5.24

Works very fine. No problem at all.

I installed a few days ago a new cyrus server on RH 6.2 with :
* cyrus-2.0.12
* pam-0.65
*openldap-2.0.11
* libsasl-1.5.24

Works very fine too.
So my question is : why have you got reentrant problems ?
The only difference I see is about RH 7.

What do you think about that ?
