Umm, yeah, I saw that in the book and said so in my email below. :) I asked
anyway 'cause the book refers to Cyrus 1.x with the old cyradm TCL code, not
the current perl code in Cyrus 2.x.

So, is this still a problem in Cyrus 2.x or is there a better solution than
the one outlined in the Managing IMAP book?
