i think so, but i have not set up any restrictions.
My /etc/hosts.allow is empty and the /etc/hosts.deny
has only a "http-rman : ALL EXCEPT LOCAL" in it.
Of course i tried your tip but it did not help.
To reload configuration i tried (after consulting man)
killall -HUP inetd (was that right?)

Sorry but i do not understand what you mean with "AF_UNIX" .
I do not remember if i mentioned, but im running linux
with kernel 2.2.14,
I do not know if i understood your right, but you thougt
that deliver could not connect to the lmtpd because of the
libwrap. But in my eyes it can. I think that because
cyrus-deliver can deliver mail if it (mail) comes over the net
by SMTP, only a "direct" sendmail call brings it to deny
access. Or do i missunderstand the situation?
