Eudora 5.0 crashes with Cyrus IMAP

Hi,

I'm using Eudora 5.0 as my email client, accessing email in IMAP mode (not 
as a POP client).

Around the time that I did the changeover from the Washington IMAP server 
to Cyrus, Eudora periodically crashes, usually generating an exception log.

Has anybody else seen this and/or have a suggested fix (short of changing 
email clients  :-)  ).

I have seen this on two separate machines (both work and home computer, 
accessing same server, not concurrently).
