Hello,

I'm pleased to announce the release of the Cyrus IMAP server, version
2.0.8. This is primarily a bugfix release, though it incorporates
some new features. All users of Cyrus IMAP 2.0 are suggested to
upgrade, as people should find this a more stable server.

The Cyrus IMAP server is a high-performance IMAP server meant to scale
from small departments to large enterprises. It operates on the
"sealed server" model: all user access to mail is through the IMAP,
POP3, or KPOP protocols. It supports a wide variety of authentication
mechanisms and Sieve mail filtering.

This is a beta release of the 2.0 server. We're pretty happy with it
and will be running it in production internally soon.

If you're upgrading from 1.5 or 1.6, PLEASE be sure to read the
documentation as a number of things have changed since the 1.6
release!

We encourage people to migrate to this code base as no further work
will continue on the 1.6 code base.
