Hello Don.

My printer is installed in Cups as hp41:
Make and Model: HP LaserJet 4100 Series v.3010.107 Postscript (recommended)
Device URI: parallel:/dev/lp0
This printer works.

so I installed a new printer in Cups as hp41plip:
Make and Model: HP LaserJet 4100 Series v.3010.107 Postscript (recommended)
Printer State: processing, accepting jobs, published.
Device URI: hp:/par/HP_LaserJet_4100_Series?device=/dev/parport0

However the printer does not print the test page and gives the error
hp41hplip "open print channel failed; will retry in 30 seconds..."
even though I have a /dev/parport0.

Where would I find the 'hp-toolbox'? Perhaps it will open even though
the printer seems not to be printing.
