Hi,

here is short description of p910nd taken from it's man page:

p910nd is a small daemon that copies any data received on the port it is
listening on to the corresponding printer port. It is primarily intended
for diskless Linux hosts running as printer drivers but there is no
reason why it could not be used on diskful hosts. Port 9100 is copied to
/dev/lp0, 9101 to /dev/lp1 and 9102 to /dev/lp2. The default is port
9100 to /dev/lp0.
...
If operating with CUPS, this is supported as the AppSocket protocol,
also known as the JetDirect (probably TM) protocol.

That's what I'm trying to do:-).

As I wrote, I tried to install the printer with hp-setup, but it didn't
find any printer at address where p910nd is running, in fact that's the
main problem.

When I'm using this printer+p910nd from windows, it works perfectly (I
set it up as RAW socket).

Do you have any ideas, why hp-setup at my computer couldn't find printer
at network computer to which it is attached to and where p910nd is running?
