Hi all, I'm using hplip 1.7.4 with cups 1.2.9 to spool and process the jobs for about 80 network printers of different types in our LAN without problems. But a Color Laserjet 2550n doesn't work as expected. My original problem with postscript driver: it always uses the optional tray 3, regardless of the tray selection - tray 2 or tray 3. So I reconfigured the printing system to use a ppd which makes use of hplip/hpijs, because the hplip homepage explicitly lists this printer as supported device. Now the tray selection *does* work, but the printer prints only black lines and boxes. Is this a known problem? What shall I do? Thanks for your support!
