Hello, I have an HP OfficeJet K80 printer and it's not working when using the USB cable. More precisely:
With hplip v. 1.6.10, the printer was detected and correctly printing using the parallel cable. With the USB cable, the printer was not correctly detected: in CUPS 1.1.23, the parallel connection was listed in the device URI while the printer was connected with the USB cable. With hplip v. 1.7.3, the printer is correctly detected through CUPS and the device URI seems now to be correct usb://HP/OfficeJet%20K% 20Series... But the printer can't print the test page. If the parallel cable is used, the printer works fine both on detection AND printing. I also gave a quick try to 1.7.4.a-r1 but the USB printing is still failing while the detection is fine. Some other HP printers like D2330 or F380 work fine on the same machine with the same packages mentioned above. Any idea where the problem could be?
