Pen change generally just means that you opened the lid of the printer.

Hi,
I tried shaking the black cartridge, but I can't feel nor hear
anything sloshing inside. However, I couldn't feel nor hear anything
sloshing inside a full black cartridge either.
The mass of the cartridge is significantly less than the new black
cartridge.
I have run "Clean Cartridges" from hp-toolbox before (for the same
problem, with the same ink cartridges), but it didn't help.
I have some more information. I just changed my black ink cartridge
from the new one to the old one (to run hp-clean). After changing the
cartridge, I checked the printer status with hp-info. There are 3
lines like this:
06/04/07 11:10:18 1008 Pen change.

Could this have something to do with the problem?
Thanks,
Malcolm
