i had the laserjet working under 7.04 till about 2 weeks ago - then some of the updates broke the connection. i can install the printer fine, no error message, but nothing prints. i have installed the hplip, and installed the printer with hp-setup but the effect is the same. (only thing which surprised me: the printer was not automatically detected, but when the lsusb info was input, it was properly identified.
