I tried all you wrote, but no success. Last try: hplip manual installer. After doing "./configure --prefix=/usr" I got: "configure: error: cannot find libusb support". Trying to ignore this, and going on with the manual install instructions, I do "make", getting:"bash: make: command not found". So what to do???
