Got no responses about how I might diagnose what software (cups or hplip) is responsible for Mandriva 2007 requiring HP1320n be configured to use Tray 2 to get it to actually use Tray 1.
I have confirmed this on another network, with a completely separate MDV2007 install and different HP1320n. This install has not been upgraded, so it occurs with both cups 1.2.3 and 1.2.4 as installed with MDV2007.
