Yes, it's for a theatre department so I'll give her the option of keeping it as a portfolio piece or using shop fabric and donating it to stock. I already asked about building it for a friend and apparently all her friends are in the class already...
I'm probably going to have everyone make the same style of corset. We may talk about others but I learned the hard way that making the same garment eliminates some confusion as they learn the basics (they're currently making 15 different tailored jackets and it has been somewhat disastrous). At least this way they'll likely have the same kinds of questions that apply to everyone.
