Does the corset have to be for the students? And how are you planning to deal with fittings and such, students pairing up and fitting each other? If so, one simple option would be that if the students who wish (either the males or the one female you mentioned), could bring in a friend or someone else to "corset."
I think it'd be great if even one of the males made a male corset, but it's not the same as a female corset. It might be easier to do a separate segment from the overall corset class.
