Kate<<<<< Hi Kate, I've just replied to your private email (sorry about the delay due to the holiday period), but I wanted to reply here too in case anyone else was interested in the answer. Short answer is, yes, I am still accepting entries for the Italian Showcase on the Realm of Venus. The long answer would involve a lot of theorising as to why the Showcase has received no submissions in a long while, and why they have dropped so dramatically from the 24 per year I was doing a couple of years ago, but that would bore everyone silly. :) There are lots of possible answers. Whatever the reason it's not for lack of desire to showcase the clothing of sixteenth century Italy. I should probably also note that the Rose Awards will not run this year because there were not enough entries in the Italian Showcase with only 4. If I receive ten entries next year the Rose Awards will go ahead. I should have already posted this on my website but I have been slack in the webbing department lately.
