Wow!  I had never heard of this feature.  It dutifully blasted a huge
list of fonts to my terminal window.  Apparently the good old days
are still here.

We even already have a dependency on ImageMagick/GraphicsMagick for some
build configurations, so your idea is an intriguing one...

FWIW, my listing from "convert -list font" includes the grotesque font Parisian (which is my Studio's font letterhead) located in a strange local directory. It was installed using Peter's script. Ditto for Engraver's Old English which is more pleasing to my colonial eye than the usual engraving fonts.
