I did all that (cvs up -dP, autoreconf) and still get what Heinz-Jürgen got. Checked the date on groff.cpp and it says 2012. I also did a brand-new groff checkout via cvs. No difference.
By the way, isn't groff --version supposed to exit after displaying the version? It is waiting for input, just like groff called with no arguments. --d >________________________________ > From: "hj.oer...@t-online.de" <hj.oer...@t-online.de> >To: w...@gnu.org >Cc: info-...@gnu.org; groff@gnu.org >Sent: Thursday, February 7, 2013 5:27 PM >Subject: Re: [Groff] groff 1.22.2 has been released > >Danke >I'll test tomorrow > > >Heinz-Jürgen Oertel > >-------- Ursprüngliche Nachricht -------- >Betreff: Re: [Groff] groff 1.22.2 has been released >Von: Werner LEMBERG <w...@gnu.org> >An: hj.oer...@t-online.de >CC: groff@gnu.org,info-...@gnu.org > > > >> cvs update > >You should always use > > cvs update -dP > >> make >> sudo make install >> >> Also worked for me > >This is probably not sufficient.
