Automated groff to XML is hard, but with enough work on the translation logic you can actually get very high-quality structural conversion. groff to XML to HTML via doclifter produces better HTML than any of the direct groff -> HTML tools. -- <a href="http://www.catb.org/~esr/">Eric S. Raymond</a>
