With regard to the last sentence: sometimes I like to play the "advocatus diaboli" (and often you get less than you pay for). In reality, I think we all are extremely fortunate that there are so many dedicated individuals investing their time (and many working for practically nothing) to improve our software environments. I don't think you have offended anyone, and I also did not really intend to criticize you for feeling frustrated about software limitations. I just wanted to give a simple (and human) explanation for why things are as they are. And I believe the work everyone contributes to this list is well appreciated.
