That message implies 2 things:
1) TeXLive 2016 is installed, not TeXLive 2015
2) Your PATH variable has not been properly modified so that 4.2 will
play well with the Gregorio which comes in TeXLive 2016.
We need to get this straightened out before dealing with your document,
so for now I'm going to ignore your document.
Please run system-setup.command and post the log file it creates. You
can find this script in either /Users/Shared/Gregorio/contrib, if you
installed using the package installer, or in the contrib folder of the
source code you downloaded if you installed from source. It is
double-click executable on a Mac. It is a diagnostic script designed to
give me the information I need to figure out your problem, it will not
fix anything itself.
