Really brief highlights:

Over 150 publishers of peer-reviewed open access books in Directory of Open
Access Books.

DOAJ’s strongest growth quarter to date - average of over 6 titles (net) per
day.

The repositories contributing metadata to the Bielefeld Academic Search Engine
collectively grew by over 4.7 million documents for a total of close to 89
million documents.

PubMed is falling behind on indexing due to a transition to automated indexing
- no serious consequences with respect to this series, but here’s hoping they
catch up really soon as a lot of people rely on this index for medical
information.

PubMedCentral continues to grow in journal participation, journals with
immediate free access, and journals with all content open access.
