I use Gmail, Google Maps and Search ... all are excellent products. BUT Google+ I want OFF my pc, Android tablet and smartphone. For the first time yesterday I 'looked' at 'my' Google+ out of curiosity to see what it is all about. 'My page' was full of irrelevant and some disgusting content and I want no part of it on my devices. So, Google, tell me in simple terms how I can delete this product but keep Gmail ... what I have read simply does not make sense to me. If I can not delete Google+ then I will have no choice other than to ignore all Google product and choose alternatives.
As a senior citizen I do not use nor want 'social networks' etc. I spend my time engaged with people face to face or pleasantly gardening. So please Google, help me out!
