I've done a Google search - sorry I can't recall the exact search words but something close to "Gmail + Chrome + keyboard shortcuts". I got several hits of people having the same trouble I'm asking here (I can easily use keyboard shortcuts in IE, but can't use them at all in Chrome), but no answers about how to implement shortcuts in Chrome.
If anyone can help, it would be nice. Obviously, I can use Gmail just fine without the shortcuts if I have to.
