URL: https://github.com/apache/datafusion/pull/26989

   ## Which issue does this PR close?

   Closes #26289.

   ## Rationale for this change

Predicates comparing dates with timestamp literals can retain casts on the
date column.
This change allows supported comparisons to use date bounds directly while
preserving timestamp precision semantics.

   ## What changes are included in this PR?

   - Support unwrapping Date32 and Date64 casts to timezone-naive timestamps.
   - Use exact date literals for aligned timestamps and rounded bounds for
non-aligned ordered comparisons.
   - Handle Date64 casts to seconds using truncation-toward-zero ranges.
   - Preserve dictionary types and reject unsupported or unrepresentable bounds.
   - Enable the exact-preimage path for supported IN lists.

   ## What is the testing strategy for this PR?

Unit tests in `casts.rs` and sql logic tests in `simplify_expr.slt`.

   ## Are there any user-facing changes?

   No public API changes.
