Hi @timsaucer, I'd be interested in contributing to this issue. I understand that the extension-author skill should wait until the codec-identity gap in `with_extensions` is resolved, to avoid documenting a temporary workaround. Are you planning to implement this yourself, or would you welcome an external contributor taking it on once the prerequisite is ready?
