@adriangb Yeah there's certainly different heuristics we could apply. Emitting every 100ms has some shortcomings though: 1. I always prefer to avoid adding timing non-determinism when possible 2. This isn't a win for many/most plans, so if we need optimizer logic to decide when to apply it in any case, I'm not sure that a time-based emission policy is much simpler overall. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
