Hi Michele,
both things can be currently done via the REST API (direct modification of
the file system is also possible, but
I would not waste time on it as the configuration storage format can change
over time).
They could be added to the UI too, if you want to put in the developer time
to make it happen hop on the developer list and start a discussion.
